Maintenance & Reliability Manager

The Position Maintenance & Reliability Manager Job Summary Job Summary: Responsible for providing leadership, direction and coordination in the planning, implementation, and improvement of maintenance and reliability services in the Sylacauga plant.  Direct, coordinate and motivate department personnel to meet established plans, budgets and targets. Responsible for complying with all the safety rules and regulations. Will serve as engineering technical expert for all functional maintenance departments.  The role will provide analysis, alternatives, recommendations, implementation plans, and oversight of maintenance initiatives intended to improve safety, regulation compliance, increase production capacity, improve equipment availability and reduce costs. Lead the maintenance team's efforts in applying the technique of best maintenance practices to maximize equipment reliability through recognized engineering improvement and sustainability programs. Oversee the implementation and administration of the Asset Reliability program and CMMS. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Lead maintenance improvement initiatives identified through failure root cause analysis and /or compliance, growth, or cost reduction requirements Develop, implement and provide mentoring for World Class Asset Management techniques, including implementation of documented work management practices Develop and monitor departmental performance key performance indicators  Liaison with purchasing to identify and negotiate purchase of needed components, equipment and contract services Prepares reports, analyzes data, and makes recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance related problems.  Develops detailed planning to control departmental elements, including spending, staffing, etc. Ensure all maintenance objectives are completed on time and within budget Support individual technical experts with required cost/benefit analysis, budget and schedule development, and identifying constraints Achieve synergies with vendors/contractors supporting maintenance initiatives Assess and document success/failure of completed work orders Establish preventive and predictive maintenance tasks, including oil analysis, vibration monitoring, thermo graphic analysis, ultrasonic detection, sound analysis, and frequencies for key process and support equipment. Establish work schedules to include lubrication, cleaning, and inspection routines. Conduct "root cause" failure analysis on chronic maintenance and repair issues and initiate corrective actions to equipment design and/or work practices. Monitors the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and initiates reordering when necessary. Optimize spare parts carrying costs. Ensure equipment historical data is available for decision making processes Develop an on-going replacement analysis program for capital equipment based on work order and preventative maintenance histories, reliability performance, and cost Skills and Attributes Required: Proven ability to oversee projects from concept to implementation, including managing personnel, developing sketches, reviewing detailed drawings, vendor negotiations, supervising contractors, and documenting final results. Effective computer skills, including AutoCad Possess the knowledge and ability to mentor and develop succession through subordinates Proven ability to successfully conduct a cost/benefit analysis, oversee development of key maintenance initiative justification, present project to superiors and gain approval Strong team leader skills to coordinate efforts of multi-disciplinary teams to achieve a common goal Must have participated in the development of and have been held accountable to a multi-million dollar budget Excellent communication skills and proactive communication style to ensure all affected parties are informed regarding the status of a wide range of maintenance repairs Proven ability to develop and adhere to maintenance downtime schedules Proven Ability to develop and adhere to preventative maintenance programs Strong ability to anticipate questions and prepare answers pertaining to the business case for each maintenance initiative from all affected parties, including the senior management team Demonstrated ability to identify maintenance constraints (manufacturing process, budget, schedule, etc.) and either eliminate the constraints or manage within Proven capability in defining project scope Demonstrated skill in applying detailed technical analysis and condition based monitoring Demonstrated skill in applying detailed oil analysis Broad knowledge of maintenance related program tools, such as, reliability engineering (RCM, On Stream Time, MTBF, OEE, WCAM CMMS and TPM) Proven ability to assign priorities to achieve multiple objectives Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and a positive change agent Strong ability to make decisions by understanding causes, weighing options, and making final decisions based on achieving highest priority objectives Demonstrated knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts Proven ability to implement lean manufacturing principles into a maintenance department Education/Experience Required: BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. At least 7 years' experience in a continuous processing manufacturing environment At least 5 years' experience supervising personnel, preference in a union environment At least 3 years' experience in a lean manufacturing environment At least 3 years leading a department with direct reports leading their own direct reports At least 5 years in a Heavy Industrial Setting REQ - 01633

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
