The Barback assists the Bartender in ensuring that all guests are served in a friendly, timely and efficient manner. They work at the direction of the Bartender in providing supplies, a clean work environment and provide assistance and support in the delivery of bar items. They strive to model the Pursell Farms core values in the completion of their work.
Responsible for setting and tearing down the bar at each shift under the direction of the Bartender.
Setup includes setting out napkins, toothpicks, peanuts and other counter items.
Checking all equipment and filling all stock.
Cleanup including properly removing all trash in the bar area and throwing it out
Wiping down equipment and restocking all basic supplies for the next shift.
Perform all other duties as needed
High school graduate or equivalent GED preferred
Skills and Abilities:
Prior experience working in a Bar or Restaurant environment
Motivation to learn and excel at assigned tasks
Ability to follow directions
Ability to provide excellent guest service at all times
Willingness to work flexible schedule and long hours depending on event needs
Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
