Summary:
The LT is to perform the necessary functions for testing of products in the quality assurance laboratory.
The LT is responsible for accurately preparing product samples for testing, maintaining lab cleanliness, and accurately record data for the QC.
The LT is also to perform various duties as necessary for the accurate and efficient function of the quality control lab.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

) Reading samples and recording data Perform testing of product coating to determine if the coating is correct or changes need to be made on the manufacturing side to meet the required standards Create new samples for each run of product Enter the appropriate information in the excel spreadsheet for each product Perform salt index testing on raw material Report any quality failures to the QC Maintain and request supplies as need for the lab Wash and clean sample bottles Wash and clean beakers, containers, and other lab equipment Maintain the cleanliness of the lab Keep all tools, supplies, and lab equipment in a neat and orderly fashion Competency:

Qualifications:
The individual must also have strong analytical skills, excellent computer skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks or requests, and prioritize them as needed.
Education/
Experience:
High School Diploma or GED, experience in fertilizer industry preferred Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret operational manuals, technical procedures.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from QC.
Math Ability:
Ability to apply reasonable mathematical abilities as it relates to the work environment.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; PowerPoint Supervisory
