Summary:
As an MRI Technologist you will play a crucial role in our imaging services department, operating state-of-the-art MRI equipment to produce precise and detailed images of patients' internal structures.
Your expertise will contribute significantly to the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions, and your compassionate approach will ensure that patients have a comfortable and reassuring experience throughout the imaging process.
Responsibilities:
Conduct MRI Scans:
Perform MRI scans on patients according to physician orders and established protocols, ensuring the accurate capture of images for diagnostic purposes.
Patient Care and Communication:
Greet and prepare patients for the MRI procedure, explaining the process, addressing any concerns, and maintaining a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
Results driven and must be a team player.
Positioning and Safety:
Accurately position patients on the MRI table, adhering to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure both patient and staff safety during the imaging process.
Equipment Maintenance:
Regularly inspect and maintain MRI equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions or issues to ensure uninterrupted services and optimal image quality.
Collaboration with Medical Team:
Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results.

Requirements:
Associate or Bachelor's degree related to radiology.
Must be registered with the ARRT.
Must be registered in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
Required to obtain continuing education to uphold registries.
CPR certification required and Basic Life Support Skills encouraged.
Minimum one to two years experience as a Radiology Technologist and/or MR Technologist.
Proficiency in operating MRI equipment, understanding imaging protocols, and familiarity with contrast agents.
